Out-of-State Transfer Bonds
Arrested far from home? We work with a licensed agent in the other state so the bond gets posted where it needs to.

For an arrest in another state.
This might be your situation if…
- A loved one was arrested out of state
- You can’t get there quickly
- You don’t know any agents there
- You need someone to coordinate it all
How we help
- Locate a licensed agent in that state
- Coordinate the transfer bond
- Handle the paperwork from here
- Explain the differences in their state
- Keep you updated every step
Coordinated. Transfer bonds depend on the other state’s rules and the partner agent’s availability; we manage the coordination for you.
Common questions
Once the bond is posted, the release is in the jail’s hands. Most releases happen within 2–6 hours, though busy facilities, shift changes, and holds can extend that. We post the bond as soon as it’s authorized and stay in touch with you the whole time so you’re never waiting in the dark.
Often, no — especially for smaller bonds with a qualified co-signer. For larger bonds we may ask for collateral (such as property or a vehicle) to secure the bond. We explain exactly what’s needed and why before you sign anything, and any collateral is returned in full once the bond is exonerated (the case is resolved and all court dates are met).
