The things families ask us most.
How long release takes, what the premium covers, collateral, co-signers, missed court dates, and confidentiality — sorted out before you call.
Once the bond is posted, the release is in the jail’s hands. Most releases happen within 2–6 hours, though busy facilities, shift changes, and holds can extend that. We post the bond as soon as it’s authorized and stay in touch with you the whole time so you’re never waiting in the dark.
In Arizona, the bail premium is set by the state Department of Insurance — typically 10% of the total bail amount. So a $10,000 bail means a $1,000 premium. That premium is the fee for posting the bond and is non-refundable, even if the charges are later dropped. If 10% is hard to pay all at once, we offer flexible payment plans.
Often, no — especially for smaller bonds with a qualified co-signer. For larger bonds we may ask for collateral (such as property or a vehicle) to secure the bond. We explain exactly what’s needed and why before you sign anything, and any collateral is returned in full once the bond is exonerated (the case is resolved and all court dates are met).
A co-signer (sometimes called an indemnitor) agrees to make sure the defendant appears at every court date and that the premium and any plan are paid. As long as the person shows up to court, the co-signer’s obligation ends when the case closes. We walk every co-signer through exactly what they’re agreeing to.
A missed court date is serious, but it’s usually fixable if you act fast — call us immediately. The court can issue a warrant and the full bail can become due. We’ll help you understand the options, and in many cases a date can be rescheduled before things escalate. The best protection is simple: don’t miss court, and call us the moment you realize there’s a problem.
Completely. What you share with us stays between us. We handle every situation — including sensitive ones — privately and without judgment. Our job is to help your family, not to ask why.
That’s okay — most families don’t at first. Start with a name and the city or jail where the arrest happened, and we’ll help you locate them and look up the bail amount. The most important first step is simply to call.
Yes. Many families can’t pay the full premium at once, and we get it. We build flexible plans around your real budget — a reasonable down payment, then manageable installments, with 0% financing on approved plans and no prepayment penalty. We post the bond now and you pay over time.
